PTA 100 Club Lottery

A 100 Club is a form of private lottery and this academic year Walberton & Binsted PTA will be running a 100 club for parents, carers, teachers and friends of the school. Membership of the “100 Club” is the easiest way to raise money for our school and your children while giving you the opportunity to win a cash prize each month.

How does it work?

  • Subscribers buy numbered tickets which are entered into a monthly prize draw.
  • Each month 50% of the takings will go to the PTA and 50% of the monthly takings given out as cash prizes (1stprize will be 25% of the monthly takings, 2ndprize will be 15% and 3rdprize will be 10%)
  • Tickets will cost £1 each and the three cash prizes will depend on how many numbers have been sold.
  • You can buy more than one number, for any number of months in the school year, and friends and family are also welcome to join.

When will the draws take place?

Draws will take place in a Friday assembly where possible. If an assembly is not due to take place the draw will take place prior to the end of school on the above dates and winners will be announced in assembly, on the PTA Facebook page, on the notice board and in the termly newsletters. If drawn during assembly, winners will be picked by the children. If drawn prior to an assembly, members of staff (who are not permitted to participate in the 100 club) will pick the winning numbers. It was agreed that PTA committee members are allowed to take part in the draw.

Please consider buying a number and perhaps ask relatives if they would like to join too. Although we cannot sell numbers to children under the age of 16, you may buy as many numbers in your name as you wish. If this initiative is successful and we sell 100 tickets each month, we could raise an extra £600 each year J

If you would like to join, please complete the 100 club form and return with payment to the school office. You can get this form from the school office or click on link below and print out. The PTA will contact you with your number(s). NB: This is on a first come, first served basis so please get your application and money in ASAP to have a chance of taking part. If you are unsuccessful we will let you know and return your money.
